Take the vehicle's key.

Press the button with the unlocked padlock symbol.

The vehicle is now unlocked; you can open the doors.

Insert the key in the port and turn it on or if available you can also use the keyless start and simply press the start button which is located behind the steering wheel on the right.

As this is an electric vehicle, do not be surprised by the absence of noise. An alert message will indicate if the vehicle is not ready to drive.

Press the brake pedal and select 'Drive' (D) with the gear selector to begin driving. The gear selector is located on the center console.

Remove your foot from the brake pedal; the vehicle will start to move slowly without making any engine noise since it is an electric vehicle.

Drive the electric vehicle as you would with a traditional automatic car, using the accelerator pedal to accelerate and the brake pedal to decelerate or stop.

When you are in a safe and appropriate parking spot, keep your foot on the brake and put the vehicle in "Park" or "P" mode using the gear selector. Stop the vehicle by turning the key and removing it or if the keyless start is available simply press the start button.

Exit the vehicle and ensure that all doors are properly closed.

Press the button on the remote control to lock the vehicle.

The charging port on the Mercedes e-Vito is on the front of the vehicle on the driver side. To open the charging port cover, ensure the vehicle is unlocked, press the charging port door, and release it - the door will open to reveal the sealed cover of the socket. Remove the socket cover to expose the combined charging port.
Step 2
Before starting the charge, ensure that the vehicle's power system is turned off. To begin charging, insert the connector into the charging port and lock the vehicle using the key fob.
Step 3
Disconnect and go When charging is complete, unlock the vehicle, gently pull the connector to remove it, and place it back on its docking station. You can stop the charging at any time by disconnecting the charging cable.
